By creating an account or using Breadmaxxer (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Breadmaxxer is a personal finance tracking application that helps you monitor income, expenses, shifts, tips, and spending goals. The Service includes an AI assistant (“Bread”) that provides informational insights based on your data.
Breadmaxxer is not a bank, financial advisor, broker, or licensed financial institution. The Service provides tools for self-directed financial tracking and does not offer investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. The AI assistant provides informational insights only — its responses should not be interpreted as professional financial guidance. You should consult a qualified professional for financial, tax, or legal decisions.
Region and language. Breadmaxxer is offered in English and designed for managing personal finances in the United States. Amounts are in U.S. dollars, and features including tax set-aside estimates assume U.S. financial and tax conventions. You may access the Service from outside the United States, but some features may be inaccurate or may not work as intended, and we make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in your location. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are.
Breadmaxxer is offered with a free plan and optional paid plans (“Pro”). Pro is currently available as Pro Monthly ($8.88/month) and Pro Annual ($88/year). New subscribers are eligible for a single 14-day free trial that auto-converts to your selected plan unless you cancel before it ends.
Promotional pricing. We may offer a promotional price on a plan for a limited time. A promotional price applies to the first billing period only; the plan renews at the standard price stated above unless you cancel before renewal. A promotional price replaces the free trial rather than adding to it — a subscription started at a promotional price does not include the 14-day trial. Because no trial begins, starting one does not use up your single trial eligibility, which remains available for a later subscription. Promotional offers state an end date and may be withdrawn before it.
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund on any full-price subscription charge within 30 days of the charge, available yourself at Settings → Billing → Request a refund, limited to one refund per account. A subscription period bought at a promotional or offer price (for example, a discounted first year) is not refundable; you may still cancel at any time and keep access until that period ends, and later charges at the regular price are refundable as above. For charges outside that window, or any case the self-serve flow cannot process, email hi@breadmaxxer.com.
One-time purchases (including crumb packs and artifact unlocks) are consumable and tied to your account; they are not transferable and, once consumed, are not refundable. Crumbs, the in-app reward currency, have no cash value, are not legal tender, gift cards, or stored value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. Crumbs expire when your account is closed.
We may change Pro features or pricing with reasonable advance notice — at least 30 days’ notice for any material reduction in features you are currently using. Price changes apply at your next renewal, never mid-cycle.
Founder accounts. Accounts created before the founder window closed on July 19, 2026 received lifetime access to Pro features at no charge. That window is closed and no new founder accounts are granted. The benefit does not expire and requires no payment, but it belongs to the account: it is not transferable, and it ends if the account is deleted.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Breadmaxxer, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.
By connecting a bank account via Plaid, you authorize Breadmaxxer to retrieve your transaction data for the purpose of financial tracking within the app. This authorization remains in effect until you disconnect your account in Settings. We do not initiate any financial transactions, transfers, or payments on your behalf.
The AI assistant (“Bread”) uses third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You acknowledge that:
Your use of Breadmaxxer is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.
Breadmaxxer and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Breadmaxxer and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the financial data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates automatically upon deletion of your account, at which point we will stop processing your data under this license and proceed with deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We strive to keep Breadmaxxer available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Breadmaxxer is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Breadmaxxer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Breadmaxxer and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
You may request account deletion at any time through Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel by logging back in; after the grace period expires, your data is permanently purged (see the Privacy Policy for the full deletion process). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved under Section 17 shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally with us. To start, send a written notice to hi@breadmaxxer.com describing the nature of the dispute, the relief you’re seeking, and your contact information. You and Breadmaxxer agree to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days after the notice is received. Only if the dispute is not resolved within that 30-day period may either party initiate formal proceedings. This informal-resolution requirement applies equally to both you and Breadmaxxer.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be modified. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms you agree to when using specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Breadmaxxer regarding the Service. They supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or communications, whether written or oral, relating to their subject matter. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
No purchase necessary. Rating Breadmaxxer is free to any signed-in account, and nothing you can buy — including Pro or Crumbs — affects your chance of winning.
How to enter. Submit a star rating in the app (Settings → Tools → “rate breadmaxxer”). A rating is one entry; adding written feedback makes it two, which is the maximum. Rating is a one-time action: once you have rated, the option is removed and no further entries can be earned. One account per person.
Prize and drawing. One (1) $20 gift card, drawn at random from all entries and weighted by entry count. The winner is notified at the email address on their account. Odds depend on the number of entries received. We will announce the drawing date in the app beforehand, and we may modify or end the drawing at any time.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18, a legal resident of the United States, and eligible under Section 4. Employees of Breadmaxxer and their immediate households are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
Your review. By submitting a rating or review you agree that we may store, quote, and publish your review text, including in marketing. We will not attach your legal name, email address, handle, or financial information to a published review without asking you first. This applies to your review text only; everything else remains governed by our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw by deleting your review — contact us, or delete your account, and your entries are withdrawn with it.
